Nice comparative and superlative

Forming regular comparatives and superlatives. The form depends on the number of syllables in the original adjective. One syllable adjectives.

Add -er for the comparative and -est for the superlative. Comparative adjectives are used to compare one noun to another noun.

The irregular forms in comparative adjectives are the same for superlative adjectives. Nicest is an adjective. So the superlative form of far is ( the) furthest, bad becomes the worst and good is the best. The positive degreeof an adjective is the simplest form of that particular adjective.

This lesson is more interesting than that one. As the name implies, a comparative adjective compares two things. I am stronger than you are. A superlative adjective compares more than two things by showing which is the “most” or “-est”.
